At Authentic Pilates of New England, every class follows the Classical Pilates Method—emphasizing precision, control, and mindful, flowing movement. Whether you prefer one-on-one instruction or the energy of a small group, each session is thoughtfully designed to strengthen your body, deepen your awareness, and support how you move through everyday life.

Our Offerings

New clients are encouraged to begin with private lessons. The number of privates required before joining a group class is determined at the instructor's discretion to ensure safety and confidence with the equipment.

Private Lessons

for fully personalized instruction

One-on-one sessions provide personalized guidance and focused attention to form, alignment, and progression. Each lesson is customized to your body and goals, helping you build a deep understanding of the Classical system and your own movement patterns.


Perfect for: beginners, injury recovery, or clients looking to advance their practice.

Duet Lessons

for training with a partner

Duets offer the same individualized instruction as privates, but in a shared setting with a friend or partner. Sessions are balanced to accommodate both participants, providing motivation, support, and accountability.

Small Group Equipment Classes

for a supportive, collaborative studio experience

Limited to four clients, our small-group classes ensure you receive hands-on attention while experiencing the full range of Classical Pilates equipment. Classes are taught by level—beginner, intermediate, or advanced—so you can progress safely and effectively.


Perfect for: ongoing strength, consistency, and community connection.

Mat Classes

for core strength, alignment, and foundational technique

Mat Pilates focuses on control, breath, and balanced strength using minimal equipment. Classes incorporate the Magic Circle, light weights, and other small props to deepen your connection to the foundational exercises.

Memberships include priority booking, discounted private sessions, and community perks.

All memberships auto-renew monthly. Unused classes do roll over. A 30-day notice is required to pause or cancel.*

FAQs & Studio Etiquette

  • We begin with a conversation about your goals—what you’re hoping to improve, how you like to move, and what brings you to Pilates. Most clients start with private sessions to build confidence and get personalized guidance before joining a small group class.

  • Nope. We welcome beginners and experienced movers alike, and we’ll guide you through everything step by step.

  •  Wear comfortable, fitted clothing (no zippers or buttons), and bring water. Sticky socks are recommended for safety and grip—you can purchase them in the studio or find them at Amazon or Target.

  • We ask for a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • If Orchard Hills Athletic Club (OHAC) closes due to weather, Authentic Pilates of New England will also close. If your class is canceled, you’ll be invited to join a virtual Zoom Mat session instead.
