Maureen is a native New Englander. Married since 1980 to her husband Dana. They have 3 grown sons and 2 grandsons. Maureen & Dana have two Basset Hounds and enjoy the Ocean, hiking, camping, fishing and walking their pups.
Maureen began her Pilates journey in 2003 and has been teaching Pilates since 2007 attaining her first Comprehensive Certification from Power Pilates. Maureen continued her Pilates education, completing The Advanced Teacher Training program with Clare Dunphy, owner of Progressive Bodyworks in 2018. After attending two weekend workshops at Jacobs Pillow called “Pilates at the Pillow” in 2019 with Sean Gallagher and Elaine Ewing, Maureen decided to deepen her knowledge of The Original Pilates Method and has completed the bridge program with The New York Pilates Studio® at Rhinebeck Pilates, NY in March 2023 and is Certified through The Pilates Guild® to teach Authentic Pilates.
